We live in a time when ecological and cultural crises are deepening, and our primordial bond with the Earth is veiled. How can we begin to cultivate a renewed love and reverence for the living world in both our inner and outer lives?
This October, Sufi teacher and Emergence Magazine executive editor and founder Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee returns to St Ethelburga's for a special evening lecture on spiritual ecology as a foundation for a moral and ethical framework rooted in interconnectedness, kinship, reciprocity, compassion, and reverence. Drawing from his new book, Remembering Earth: A Spiritual Ecology (Shambhala Publications, June 2026), Emmanuel will explore how this framework can begin to emerge through embodied practices of remembrance, praise, and intimacy with the living world.
